No, you can not change, But you can unlearn leatherworking and take it up again, leveling it all the way in to the 200's to pick a path to get. Up next, so you are going to quit becasue it is hard, then drop LW all togather and start mining. Dont know anything about you(class/faction) but I am assuming you are a shman or a hunter(generaly the only folks that take the path). If I am correct, taking up any other branch is pointless for you, are you realy going to use leather armor when you can use Mail? Tribal and Elemental have mat issues and limited patterns. Jumping porffs becasue they get hard is ..... Stupid(I rarely use that word). Sure dragonscales are hard to get at level 45, but when you get to 60 and have little to do but farm them it is a diffrent ball o wax(both my hunter and my shaman can solo up though blackdragonkin).

Stuff in dragonscale
Black Dragonscale Boots
Black Dragonscale Breastplate
Black Dragonscale Leggings
Black Dragonscale Shoulders
Blue Dragonscale Breastplate
Blue Dragonscale Leggings
Blue Dragonscale Shoulders
Dragonscale Breastplate
Dragonscale Gauntlets
Green Dragonscale Breastplate
Green Dragonscale Gauntlets
Green Dragonscale Leggings
Red Dragonscale Breastplate
Chromatic Cloak

Now thats a lot of stuff and are way way way eazer than grinding timbermaw furbog rep to get the tribal stuff.

Just what is it in Tribal that you want?

The leatherworkingpath that earns you much money is Dragonscale.

But mostly on the hordeside, because 60% of all the dragonscales are made for shammys, so if you're a horde it's a great thing to choose.

I'm an alliance hunter and I choose Dragonscale for the items that I could use myself, but indeed you can earn money on each side, but mostly on hordeside.

Otherwise how many are leatherworkers that CANT use the items themselves? Not many. :)
