Can you place weapon enchantments on bows? Because technically they are weapons, and if so will they still glow? I've received mixed responses on this.

No, you cannot add enchants to bows. Nor can you get a glow. However you can attatch scopes from engineering that give + damage, these do not provide a glow, but are the only 'enchant' available to bows.
