Hey guys I am new to the site and the forums and I was just wondering if there was a post that specifically talked about where to find trade items I know I have a hard time finding the things I need most!
1. Woolen
2. Light Hide
3. Med Hide
4. Spider Silk
PLEASE KEEP THIS POST GOING LETS ALL ADD TO THIS LIST AND HELP EACH OTHER OUT WITH!

First off when you have issues with ANY in game item first check the item search:

It would also help to say what your tradeskill is and what your gathering skill is.
I assume you mean wool cloth, it drops from level 18+ Humanoids. Bolts of cloth are created by tailors or caught when fishing.
This obtained through skinning. There's also "cured" med/light hide which Leatherworkers make.
This is drop from certain level spiders. I am to lazy to use the search function to look it up.

Here's a hint. Take each of those items, and put them in the search box to the left. When they come up, click on them; and they will show where the fall most often.
Skins are relatively rare skinning results. The drop rate is probably between 1/10 and 1/5 skins to leather.

I stopped trying to sell hides at the AH. There are so few recipes that need them that they don't sell there. Now, I vendor all hides I get. Because they only stack to 5, they also take up valuable bag space, so they are some of the first things to drop out of my full bags when something I can sell at the AH comes along.
I've noticed this myself. However, this means that prices on hides stay low, thus making them excellent for skill ups when you can make cured hides, even when they drop to low green.
Heay hides and up usualy sell quite well, i did ok stelling full stakcs of meduim hides for hillmans sholders(a key item to powerboosting LW).
