Enchanting: farming high lvl matsFollow

What level is your character? Solo runs on Blackrock Depths and Dire Maul provide most of my shards and essences, with the balance coming from random drops while farming reputation or my share of the loot when running instances in a group. The key to getting a lot of shards from group instance runs is to do it with people who don't need any (or at least little) loot from the place so that you can disenchant 1-2 items from each boss. Scholomance is quite nice for the group option since you get more rare drops from the mini-bosses now (used to be uncommon drops mostly), alternatively a group of 3 can easily farm DM West for about 8-10 shards per hour by killing 2 bosses and then resetting the instance.
