Answer directly from the sticky, perpetually the first post in this forum:

Quote:
A. You need to buy the First Aid manual. For Alliance, the vendor (Deneb Walker, I think) is in the ruined city of Stromgarde, in Arathi Highlands. He is in the Alliance-friendly section, right outside the prince's room. For the Horde, the vendor is Ghok'kah, in Dustwallow Marsh.

Note: These vendors also sell the books for Heavy Silk and Mageweave bandages. Buy them!!

Now, push M. Look for a zone called "Arathi Highlands." Go there, and buy the books. If you need more help, it is north of the Wetlands, and east of Hillsbrad.

One method is to hang out at IronForge and learn from the 1st aid trainer there, then when you hit around 250, she'll send you on a quest to help a Triage Surgeon in Theremore:

He'll have you do a "Healing Minigame" is all I can think to word it, but not a Jovial. Looks hard (And it can be)but just focus on the WORST condition of soldiers at 1st and you'll be done in no time.

I have a crisis here. I'm at 122 first aid, still working with wool cloth. But, I'm like lvel 40, and the mobs I kill all drop silk. How can I get my skill up to 150?

Go to a major city and buy the supplies....Like wool...from an auctioneer. Easiest way. I got my skill up in less than an hour with a fairly low cost. You can sell your created supplies back to a vender and make most of your money back
