I got to 266 engi making those bullets that need 2 mithril bars and 2 solid blasting powders. Now im stuck. i dont know what to make and all my recipes are green except the ones that needs loads of mats. All easy ones are higher up or i cant seem to find the recipe (AH/Vendor). What do you all recommend to get to 60? I have the recipe for Thorium Shells waiting so i just need 19 lvls. Also, is there any engineer trainer after the Master Engineer in Gadgetzan?

WHen I was about 250 I was lucky getting the schematic for sniper scope for 30g on the AH and Im able to sell the scopes for 3g each and the mats arent expensive. If you manage to the the schematic cheap you will be able to make sniper scopes until you canmake the shells.

if u go to Tanaris then u will find Master Engineer in Gadgetzan.
and u will find the Master Gnome Engineers in. IF,Tinker Town..Stranglethorn Vale,Booty Bay..Barrens,Ratchet and Tanaris.

I wish I were lucky enought to find the sniper scope schematic at any price on my server. It is a rare drop, so it is serendipity you got it at all. You were smart to grab it.
Gadgetzan is the place to find the schematics to level to 290. You can swim there from Theramore island if you stay close to shore (the path is about 4 yards wide at one point). Remember to get the flight plan. After that, you need to go to Everlook and get the [thorium tube?] schematic to finish 300 in a cost effective manner.
And if you are trying to twink 300 engineering at level 35, you will die multiple times running to Everlook, but your patience will be rewarded. Just remember to get the flight path in the north end of Felwood (as well as the one at Everlook) on the way if you are alliance so you can return by air next time.
