Enchanting questionFollow

Now that my warrior is 60 I have been working on my rogue who is lvl 31. Hes an enchanter and I know people make good money off enchanting, but I was wondering where is a list of enchants and how much they sell for? or do i just make a price myself? Any tips?

I looked everywhere for that list of chanting price suggestions but could not find it.

I have 2 lvl 300 chanters and have found that I make more money just selling the DE mats. But, selling the higher end chants can make some nice money as well.

High end chants like: Crusader, lifestealing, +15agi, +22int, etc. prices change depending on server and if they provide mats or not. I never carry mats, I always have the person buy them.

Generally I ask around, I ask other chanters how much they sell them for and I decide from there. Usually I give low lvl chants for free and most of the time the person will tip me.

Some of the suggested price lists I have found simply took the cost of the mats needed for the chant and took 15% of that and used that as the suggested price.

The price of chants are highly variable so I would stick with what other people on the server are selling it for.

Indeed, for the most part, you will make more money from selling the materials you disenchant. I made 40g yesterday in about 20mins of d/e'ing during an Auctioneer scan.

And yeah, if you want to make money in addition to this kind of thing you'll consider getting some rare recipes and charging a combining fee. It's hard to find people willing to pay even materials cost for an enchant, much less cost plus profits for you. Any of the higher end weapon enchants allow for you to do this. You might also consider taking your rogue on some stealthed shard runs since you can disenchant all the BoP blues that drop. At your level, Wailing Caverns may be a little difficult, but might be doable. Give it five levels and it shouldn't be hard at all. Deadmines would be a little more difficult, but still possible(except maybe VC fight, you should wait til about 40 to solo that).

Good luck in making lots of Gold.

As far as enchanting, I agree that selling the mats from disenchanting stuff pays better. But the way to decide how much to charge is to watch advertisements of other enchanters and ask their prices.

If you have a rare but popular enchant, you can make a lot of money. If you have a mature server where every enchantment is available, don't expect to make the big bucks.

what r mats?

mat is short for material. When you "supply the mats" you are bringing all the required components for an enchant and not relying on the enchanter to have them. (Or bringing all the components to have an alchemist, leatherworker, etc. make an item.)
