At my wits end!!! (tailoring)Follow

I'm looking for something for a guildmate. She wants the patern for the "Rich Purple Shirt". I can't find this thing ANYWHERE. I've tried thotbot and looked in the locations indicated. Has any actually found this thing?

I had forgotten about that pattern. It used to be on my list of items to check for in the AH and hope to get lucky on.

I have no idea why Blizzard made that pattern blue. It’s a shirt. Nothing more. But, on my server at least, I’ve never seen it on the AH for less than 100 gold. While I would love to be able to make this shirt for my many characters and for friends, I don’t want to that badly. There’s no way a shirt with no stats is worth more than a mount.

Realistically, the customer base for this items are players of level 60 characters with more money than sense. I mean more money than they know what to do with. I have four level 60 characters and have yet to find this goose that lays the golden eggs. But many have. So I expect even at 100 gold the pattern eventually sells.

By the way, I wrote the correct name because I figured you couldn't find the item due to having the wrong name. If you had found the item, even on thottbot, and seen the variety of places and insanely low drop rates, you'd know it was a random world drop, and not have asked the question.

Therefore, I put in the link and gave you the right name.

And yes, it is a random world drop. Your best bet is to buy it.
