Alright so currently I have the following Profs at the following lvls.

Alchemy 290 - Can get to 300 easy But have been spending time lvling to make gathering the higher herbs easier.

Herbalism 287 - Same as above I need to be in higher zones to lvl to 300 no problem Ive been grinding to get their.

Fishing 225 - Just got my quest for Pat Nagle (sp?) and will complete tonight.

First Aid 250ish I think - I have plenty of cloths but Im a druid I only did this one for mana free heals in certain situations so I rarely ever use it.

So my question is not how to do well in these proffs that was easy. My question is are there any other proffs I can take on this same Druid that may be helpful and worth while.

Cooking? I figure might go well with fishing, but I really dont eat food Im a healer. So is there good gold to be made here? I know I can do deviat delight or whatever but is it worht it to lvl cooking, or is it no different than just selling the deviate fish?

Other than that are there even any other proffs I can take? From what I can tell I cannot take any more but this is my first toon and I want to make sure I understand how this works, before I miss out on something.

Err... between my characters, I have something like..

Herbalism (300) x2
Alchemy (300) x2
Engineering (285) x1
Tailoring (300) x1
First Aid (300) x3
Fishing (300) x2
Cooking (300) x2
Skinning (300) x1 (although I changed it to herbalism)
Mining (265) x1

You can only have 2 Primary crafts, and all three secondary. No, you cannot take more on the character you have; that's why you get other characters :-D.

As for recipes, the only ones you'll really make money off of are rare ones, or ones that need rare materials. Occassionally you'll find a deal or two, but they're few and far between. Reputation recipes are the best ways to make money with primary crafts, but you'll need the max level and lots of rep grinding to get them. And they need to be decent recipes.

Note: these are only for my highest characters, 60, 60, and 46. The second alchemy is for my level 35 alchemist alt, whose sole reason for existence is to transmute for me.

Ok thx. It will some time before I start an alt......well actually I do have a lvl 19 that I use solely for the purpose to disenchant items that I dont need to sell but obvously are not soulbound items. I have actually made good money doing this.

But I wont be doing much other than that till I hit 60. Im 47 atm Woot!!!

So I can take all 3 secondary which means I can take cooking? Well I may actually take cooking then even if I cant profit from it. As the name of the thread indicates I really enjoy the proffessions in the game. Its a nice change of pace after grinding for 4 hours to just sit fish, cook, and enjoy the beautiful game.

I very much agree ^_^ I took fishing, cooking, and first aid to 300 on my first character, just for the fun and experience of it!

Cooking isn't too shabby. You'll get a decent stat boost before boss fights, which is great. Some recipes give 15 minute stats like +20 Strength.

Good plan, poor reason. Lots of stuff in the game makes you no money, heck even cost you money, but their is a whole lot more to the game than money. If you noodle is wraped arround cash though, think of it as gold you are not spending buying food. I know healers always use the I can heal myself bit, but thats not always the best choice. Fristly, eating saves mana, if at the end of a fight you have only a sliver of MP gone, but a chunk of HP missing, are you realy saving time by healing, then drinking? Next is the buffs, stuff like sagefish and realy help out on boss fights(between consumables you can get some massive in combat mana regen going on).

The same holds true for First Aid, Dont care if your a priest or any other healer, their is no reason to not have FA maxed by 60.

Only trade I have not maxed out..... smithing(I dont do warriors), and was not a huge fan of my pally(pre buff).

lol good point. Funny how I took first aid for the reasons you stated, mana less heal, but completely missed that same exact point about cooking. Oh well live and learn, some of us are just slower than other hehe :)
