leatherworking 225+?Follow

ok i just hit 35 last night on my rogue and my leatherworking was already waiting at 225. I've looked around the on forums to see where the quest to get artisan was but im confused....there are guides to get past 225 but they are for 3 different branches of leatherworking.

so my question is, is there a quest to get leatherworking past 225 first and then specialize quest at 250 skill? or the quest u do in order to get your skill past 225 is the quest u take to start up your specialization path?

any information to help me do the quest to get artisan leather working would be great, since its pretty hard and confusing to find on the boards. Im alliance by the way.

also im a rogue and it seems like most people are saying elemental leatherworking is the way to go for rogues...is that correct?

thanks in advance!

u gotta go to hinterlands at aerie peak to get artisan to skill up 225+ and get normal trainer patterns and u can also go to a seperate specialization trainer...elemental is ur best choice as a rogue and that is in searing gorge. U do the simple quest of gettings 4 pairs of different elemental items that u can easily buy at Ah for about 10g altogether. Then u can train for one elemental item at 225 i think its called gauntlets of the sea and then at 250 u get the helm of fire pattern. After 250 ur on ur own and u gotta get ur own patterns from vendors and drops....these specialized patterns will make u all ur money and ur best gear

For Alliance, go see Drakk Stonehand at Aerie Peak in Hinterlands to break the 225 limit.

[Edit] My error - Pratt leads in to the Tribal quests - ignore this part: Then, go do the Wild Leather quests with Pratt McGubbin in Feathermoon Stronghold in Feralas. Those lead in to the guys who train you in your specialty. [End Edit]

Just go see the woman in Searing Gorge for elemental LW quest.

Elemental really is pretty good for rogues. Tribal makes a lot (not all, but mostly) of plus-INT amd plus-SPR stuff, good for healer druids but not rogues, and of course dragonscale (makes mail armor) is uselss for rogues.

Take a look at the list of trainers under the tradeskills tab (over on the left side and down a ways) here at Allakhazam. It tells you all you need :)

ok thank you both for your information.

so basically i have to do a quest to break the 225 limit first and then can i do the quest to be an elemental crafter right away? or do i have to wait till 250 in order to take that test?

thanks again for your help
