Light leather Farming!Follow

Intro: This guide is to used explicitly for: farming leather to sell on the AH, jacking LW, jacking skinning, jacking cooking, and/or toilet paper if you print it out.

The Places: The two farms on on either side of Fargodeep mine to the south of Goldshire.

The Rounds: This is most useful when you can one-four hit the boars and kill them... Once you get to that level, go to one of the farms, and start killing all the boars, then skin them all. Also, don't forget to take the chunks of boar meat that drop! Once one farm is depleted, run to the other farm, and kill/loot/skin all the boars there; repeat. The boars spawn very fast, so it shouldn't be too hard to find some to kill.

The Haul: Doing this you can get upwards of 70-80 light leather an hour (I've done it on a level 25 paladin). This will get you crazy amounts of gold if you action it off, or you can use it to jack your LW.. Now you're asking, "So why the heck did you tell me to get all that meat?!?" Well, take that meat, and cook it! if you're just starting cooking, this should jack it to at least journeyman. Or you could sell it to all the lazy bums like me who want to jack their cooking, but don't want to farm the meat.

true, but there since there is an extremely high concentration of boars on the farms, it makes up (kinda) for the scraps, since with LW 3 scraps=1 light leather. i wrote this from my own previous experiences.

If you have Leatherworking, I can see this as a very good place. The boars have an insane respawn, as the OP said; they basically respawn in a matter of seconds. Yes, instant respawns are fun. Plus, they are neutral, so you can keep fighting without being worried about aggro.

If you are not a LWer, this probably isn't worth it, as you'll only get scraps most of the time, and those are useless (unless you have a LWing friend who is willing to convert them).

yes, but u can have a DE/LW alt for just changing the scraps into light leather, and DE... well for disenchanting ..lol
