copper farming!Follow

Intro:For all you engineers and blacksmiths that still use copper: one tip on farming.

The Place: Fargodeep mine (due straight south of Goldshire, for all you higher levels who haven't been there since your main was a wee tot :P)

The Rounds: Get to a level where the kobolds aren't a threat unless you aggro a ton of them (around 15-20ish, depending on your class). Now go in, and kill everything while running through mining, starting at the bottom. By the time you go all the way through, most of the veins should have respawned (if no one is farming there :P), so just run through over and over and over.......

The Haul: I would usually get between 55 and 65 copper ore an hour doing this at around 190-200 mining skill as a level 20-26 pally. This place is great if you had two gathering professions but dropped one to start Blacksmithing (or Engineering). Or if your just farming to sell on AH, this is even better.. You get mad gold! Edit: You also get a crapload of linen cloth if you kill all the kobolds. Awesome for jacking 1st aid!

i know that there are other places to farm copper, I just happen to have had the best experience here.



I didn't mean this as a definitive guide to farming copper, just as a tip for where a good place to farm is. I also prefer this mine because you can farm linen cloth simultaneously.
