Jewelcrafting... Honestly, it sounds like a crappy profession. But hey, it has its uses. Remember those THOUSANDS of times where you looted machalites and shadowgems from dead mobs, but could only sell them off to either vendors or real cheap on the AH? With jewelcrafting, I bet we'll be able to actually made GOOD STUFF with those things. But I dunno... I think I could think of better professions. I'll think of one right now. Artifact-searching. You buy a sand sieve, go to either a shallow pool or due, and sift the sands for artifacts. Those artifacts could be mysterious stuff needing disenchanting, reagents for other professions, or treasure maps and the like.

most likely how you are thinking in that line.

Remember this is the same company that did D2 LoD, and in Bllizard fation, their will be a lot of similarties(it is no shocker that Bliz reuses stuff between games)

Either mining or enchanting will be the sister skill to jewlcrafting.

I would realy like to see a crafting porfession that makes cater stuff Staffs/caster swoards, daggers, staffs,(realistic) wands past level 30. We can hope, but it is also not a shocker that bliz forgot about casters.
