Would it be a good idea to just buy lots of Felcloth and turn it into Mooncloth to level up my Tailoring? Someone said their Tailoring is 300 and the 'recipe' for Felcloth to Mooncloth is still yellow.
They also said Mooncloth sells for about 10g, so I could sell back the Mooncloth I get and even make some profit.

Sure, it's a good idea. The only problem is that it has a 4-day cooldown, and requires 250 skill. So, yeah, if you want to wait 200 days to get those last 50 points, but make a VERY slow but steady profit while doing it... sure!
You'll never use it as your only source of skillups. It'll take far too long (as the above poster mentioned). However, it's definitely not a bad idea to make a mooncloth every 4 days when you're cooldown is up... that's a lot of profit :)
