I'm looking to train in poisons but I can't find any information on where to do this. Maybe I'm just an idiot, however, I would appreciate the help. Thanks.
I would ask this in the Rogue forums. This is for professions and such.
However I think you have to buy the regeants needed to create poisons from a vendor called a SHADY DEALER. They have everything you need I believe.

There is a level 20 quest you have to do. Once you complete it, then a trainer will train you.
Im sorry but my brother says he has to buy some stuff? Is this after you get trained?
Yeah. Once you do the quests, Poisons become an option in your generally skills.
At that point, it's muc like alchemy, only, as you said you buy from the Shady Dealer. Once you have the mats and vials, you can mix poisons and it levels much like a tradeskill.

for Horde, I believe you talk to someone in the Rogue's quarter in UC. He sends you to the Barrens by the SludgeFen Farm to steal something from the top of the tower. Can't remember the name of the quest, but after that, you get Poisons lvl1. After that, any rogue trainer can teach you how to craft poisons.
You get new poisons basically every two levels. (ex. lvl22, lvl24, etc). Also, your maximum level is based on your actual level, so every time you increase a level, your poison level maximum increases by 5, must like your lockpicking, except keeping your poison level up is much easier. Poison supplies are easily available, especially in major cities.
