Heya,
I seem to have a little problem. I had Gnomish Engineering way back. Then I had to drop it to pick up skinning.
2 days ago, I decided to pick up engineering again only to find out that it seems to be bugged. I didn't have to do another quest to get Gnomish Engineering specialization back. I was able to renew my membership card but I'm not counted as Gnome Engineer.
So I made a GM ticket to inquire if this was a bug. I got a msg back from them via in-game mail that I need to look up some "soothe saying" guy. But I couldn't find ANY clue on where he is nor if this is true.
Anyone got some info/tips? :\

A guy in Tanaris. His house is slightly north of Steamwheedle(sp???)....read the book in there...the soothsaying one. That's what I hear anyway. Excuse my poor memory with the town name...no sleep does that to me lol
