Reputation for EnchantsFollow

#1 Apr 06 2006 at 11:48 AM Rating: Decent
Well I am a 300 Enchanter , 60 Human Paladin, and only can do Crusader enchants, and I need to start farming Reputation with alot of places to get better enchants... But I dont know where is a good place to farm Reputation for the enchants..

With Timbermaw Hold, apperently I am hostile with them... and I want to get it back up badly and I have no idea how I got hostile with them, Thorium Brotherhood is just Neutral.... , and Cenarion Circle is Neutral also...

So what is the best way of getting my reputaion up, especially Timbermaw Hold... Any Ideas?

Timbermaw: Kill LOTS of Deadwood Furbolgs in Felwood (there is a lower-level camp in the SW, and a higher level camp in the NE). You get 5 rep per kill. I recommend teaming up with other people in the area, as rep gain is not affected by numbers (you just need to hit the enemy once if your party tags it). There is usually a ton of competition. Also do the quest outside the Deadwood Village in Souther Felwood. The one after it has you collect items off the fubolgs to turn in for rep.

Thorium Brotherhood: Do the quests at Thorium Point in Searing Gorge. After you do the quest "What the Flux!" a repeatable quest comes up. Do that until friendly. At friendly, you get a new repeatable quest: turning in Dark Iron Residue from BRD. Do that to Honored. At honored you have turn-in quests for difficult materials (like 10 Dark Iron Ore for 50 rep). Prepare to spend a lot of time and money at that point... this quest-giver is in BRD's bar.

Cenarian Circle: Easiest way to get rep up is to run AQ20. If you can't, then do quests, and kill Twilight Cultists in Silithus (they give 1 reputation per kill). You can also turn in encrypted twilight texts for 100 rep per 10 texts. These are very expensive to buy off the AH, and drop at around a 20% rate off the cultists.

Everybody starts off hostile with the Timbermaw - they don't like anyone. Make sure you turn off the "at war" check box in your reputation page, though.

There are three sets of repeatable quests for Timbermaw rep. One is in the Southwest, given by a Furbolg standing on the left side of the road just past the Enerald Sanctuary, and involves killing a lot of Deadwood Furbolgs, six each of Gardeners, Warriors, and Scouts. You get 5 rep apiece per kill, plus more for repeating the quest.

Then when you reach unfriendly (I believe) and can run through the Timbermaw hold without being attacked, there is a questgiver on each side of the tunnel, one in Felwood and one in Winterspring. Each has a repeatable quest for drops off the Furbolgs in their respective zones, the Winterfall furbolgs in Winterspring and the Felpaw furbolgs in Felwood.

For the Thorium Brotherhood, you're going to spend a lot of time farming Incendosaur scales to get to friendly, then Dark Iron Residue (drops in BRD from almost everything) to get to honored, then Dark Iron Ore, Blood of the Mountain, or some other rare drops to get to Revered. Be ready to grind or pay, and the trips to BRD are required once you're at honored. The quest turn in after that, as LockeCole says, is inside the instance, and not all that close to the beginning either. Of course, the same guy sells the recipes you want anyway, so you'd have to go in regardless.
