My enginerring is at 240 and I need to choose an engineering direction. Any thoughts on Gnome vs Goblin Engineering? It would be useful to see the items each can make, or at least the key items. Although I love blowing things up, a timely placed target dummy has probably been more useful. Do the Gnomes basically make improved target dummy contraptions vs Goblin mega-bombs?
while their are a few othes,the diffrence comes down to
Do you want?
A:Death ray(large single target dammage, that hurts your too Everytime)
B:AoE-DoT, that has a chance of hurting you.
Most everything else can be traded, if you choose A, pick gnomish, if you want B, take goblin.

I personally picked Gnome. Seems like there's more utility there than in Goblin.

For me the choice breaks down like this.
Which do you prefer playing with more when playing your character, dangerous explosives or cool toys?
Explosives = Goblin
Toys = Gnome
That is, of course, a vast simplification. But it’s basically how I look at it. I have two gnomish engineers.
