Alchemy vs. levelFollow

#1 Mar 31 2006 at 2:52 PM Rating: Decent
I have a question I'm hoping someone can help me with. I'm a 27 shaman, and an alchemist. My alchemy skill is at 150, but that's the end of the bar. Do I have to reach a higher level character wise, before I can acquire more alchemy skill? Thanks.

You are eligible to train to 225 at level 20 with a skill of 125.

Talking to trainers usually gives clues in-game, too.

I thought I should have been good to go, but the trainers don't have anything either in thunder bluff or orgrimarr. And if I look at my skills, they're 150 of 150. I've tried making several things that I have in my "recipe book" that were orange, which should have advanced the level, and nothing happens.

Honestly, this site is not hard to navigate. Look to the left and follow the list down to "Trade Skills" and then "List of Trainers". Follow the instructions there.

Saru Steelfury (Orgrimmar), can uncap your 150. And form a Asylumnite, thought you guys were "so much better" Than us WoWers, or at leas thats usualy how the argument devolves.

Thanks for the info. I think I'm missing something on the Asylum reference though ... in my case it's a band, has nothing to do with this game :)

Go to Undercity, the artisan Alchemist is in there and you can get up to a skill of 225 at your lvl.

I was hoping to find an answer here but I don't think I have. I capped at 150 skill at lvl 16: I am now lvl 20 and still can't get higher skills in ThunderBluff, Ogrimmar or UnderCity. Did WOW add a requirement in one of their patches that is undocumented (I guess it could have been in that long update doc that I skipped through).
If anybody can make anymore suggestions they will be greatly appreciated. Thnx for input.

Yea I'm a noob. After lvl 20 you can get training from an artisan alchemist to 225. I had not gone back to an artisan (in undercity) since lvl 20. I had just gone to a expert trainer.
