So I'm swimming around the Bay of Storms grabbing essence of water, fishes and whatnot when I come across the huge Swirling Maelstrom with wreckage floating in the middle. I understand that fishing from it was required for an End Game quest of some sort to do with the 4 Dragons.
I was wondering if someone could link info on this.
But my main question is this. I have 425 fishing skill available to me (+ a lil more if could be bothered with the enchant), can I fishing the Maelstrom with this skill level if I grab a guild shammie to water walk me? If so what can you get?
Basically I don't wanna drag someone all the way out the to find that since I don't have the quest to fish it that all I pull up is standard Bay of Storms fish.

I often pass this on my way for Astral Quintessence (or whatever it is to put out the MC runes) and I can fish it while levitating with 300 fishing and a pole and lure etc.
But it never throws up anything.
A quick search on quests for dragons yields no results.
Anyone wise about this?

yes you pull up and pice of shadow ord to augment your item to do more damage to the end gaem dragon
Eeek i am about to get killed by fisherman everyplace, So some of the best loot in the game is found in Wreckage(well non epic loot), and other special pools( I am working hard to not reveal my secrets), my recomendaion is to fish them all till they are out, record the courdnates and come back, again , and again. I leveld my shaman on a new server to 50 for just fising theese speical spots, it is terribly profitable.
Mr Tastycakes is just jerking your chain, only the fish normally found in Bay of Storms is found in the Maelstrom. Its only use is to get an arcanite buoy to summon a Shark needed for a shard to create the AQ Scepter.

... to everyone else thanks for the info. I posted this on the main forums too and it was confirmed that If you took the effort to get a shammie to waterwalk you to fish that huge maelstrom you would get... absolutely nothing more than the standard bay of storms fish.
