Hi, I Love fishing, spend way to much time doing it. If your 150 and at least level 18ish I would head to Stonetalon Mountains. There is a lake/river in the middle of the zone near winshear crag. There are numerous spawns of Wreckage and oil sliks that produce massive drops of Watertight boxes, Firefin sappers and strangel kelp. I start at one end of the river and run to the next fishing at each spawn. By the time i get to the end, they have almot all respawed. You would not believe the loot I get from those boxes! Also, the firefin snappers go for 90 silver to 1.5 gold a stack of 20. I would typically sell at least one or two stacks a day of snappers and kelp, not to mention the stuff i got in the boxes. Easily generate 1 to 2 gold for an hour of fishing.

If you are not quite 18ish, i would go to ratchet and fish along the coast. Very few mobs will bother you if you hug the coast. tons of blackmouth and firefin snappers (blackmouth will generate 50s to 1 gold a stack), not to mention several crates (of a lower quality than the stuff you find in stonetalon mountains). from about 30ish on, i'd head to desolace (go to the fishing village/flight node) or go to Strangelthorn Vale. I got to 225 (the max for pre-35) by the time i was 22 all off of Stonetalon mountains.

Also, in Desolace, at the fishing village/flight node, there is a quest for lobsters that you get from traps in the water just under the docks. There is a fishing pole you can get there "strong steel fishing pole" i think. It drops like 1 in 100 traps.

Good Luck.
