I will have to do some testing I see. I play on Magtheridon so maybe if someone knows the best time and does not play this server they might PM it to me?
Well, let's see what information you already have.
You've heard rumor that until after six o'clock in the eve, stonescales don't bite. That's easy to test, but we can accept that for now.
You've heard say that you
can catch them earlier in the day. That, too may be assumed true for the time being.
So, one would guess that after six would be a good time.
And eels aren't very...shall we say...swift. That means they can take hours to decide to really feed and hours to taper off. Let's just assume by hours I mean...six.
So at six o'clock in the evening, they begin to eat. It takes them another six hours before they
really being to feed in earnest. After six hours of that, they start to taper off. And six hours after
that they have effectively stopped.
So go ahead and test that, and let us know what you find out.
And, of course, winter is officially over. I have not confirmed it, but I strongly suspect that a fish called the winter squid may be out of season and that we may have to wait three more months before the summer bass begin to bite. Grill 'em if ya got 'em!
