Can anyone point out some pots that sell well on your server for money. Im level 60 and 300 alchemy so finding the herbs and using them isnt a problem. Also please dont mention flasks because I have crap armor and cant go on MC raids for the recipes till I get some better armor and a better guild. Thanks in advance for any responces.

Any other pots? Agility, armor, or Elixir of Giants sell? What about Fire Resitance potion or Elixr of Shadow Power? Has Anyone had any success selling these or are these just a waste of time and herbs? Thanks in advance for any replies.

When i sell agility pots, I'll send a message in general to alert the classes who will use them more often. I usually get whispers back from hunters, rogues, and feral druids asking for prices. Elixer of giants sells well too, but most players that I know of treat it as more of a novelty item like the cooked deviate fish.

Elixer of giants increases your size and strength. I've never seen a stack of them sell lower than 5g.

i have sold several stacks of fire resistance potions best time to put up for sale is weekends when MC runners are on. i usually set price at 2.5g starting and 5g buyout. also swiftness potions sell very well but u might want to check the AH to see that amount of people selling them these sell from 1-5g depending on the supply and demand.

I'm also 300 alch and 315 herbs (due to +15 racial bonus as a tauren) and I find some times it is very helpful to put out and "ad" on the city trade channel. I sell a ton of nature prot pots and fire prot pots by advertising for the quests they are useful on. Got a group doing test of skulls? Sell some nature prot pots/fire prot pots (or greater nature/fire prot pots if you have the recipe) Same for ST very useful in there. PVP? free action pots are very helpful also as inginia of the ****/alliance only works once with a cooldown... Good luck to you!!

free action, swiftness, nature protection, elixir of defense, arcanite transmutes... these are the moneymakers for my levle 35 alchie alt.

if you have auctioneer installed, you can mouse over the ingredients in your alchemy window, and the potion itself, and see which potions sell for more than the herbs used to make it.

also... buy herbs on the weekend, and sell pots during the week ;)

QFT

While I am rapment on my daytrader stance, This is why. It is nice to see somebody actualy work the market, While actualy making someting. I find a mod for it kind of cheap (only becasue I dont use it), It is nice to get a good ballpark figuer of proffitabllity.

but for me
swiftness potion
stonesheild potion(greater)
greater defence
major Health and Mana
mongose
Free action
purfying potion
major rage
mageblood
shadow power(lock quest)
frost oil(Quest)+(DM runs)
lesser invis(Quest)

not all can be made with a positive margin by buying the mats on the ah, but they sell well.

If you are on a server with lots of BG twinks then look to sell swiftness potions and low end healing pots such as greater healing potion or free action pots. The healing pots sell for about 1g a stack and you only need kingsblood and liferoot, while switfness sells for ridiculous prices - 5g+ a stack although I often sell 2 for a low price. If you don't have the recipe it is worth check AH to see the going price of the pots and the recipe... buying the recipe for 10g can easily be paid back in no time at all.
Also not sure about wildvine pot and/or herb. Again needs a rare drop herb but if you are in Hinterlands or SV killing trolls you can get a fair amount. Been selling the herb - again some of the AH prices are ridiculous.
By the way this is written from an Alliance perspective...
