Engineering: Dragonling cool down timer QuestionFollow

#1 Feb 21 2006 at 12:56 PM Rating: Decent
I currently have a Mithril Dragonling and I am about to turn level 50 which I will be able to upgrade to the Arcanite Dragaonling.

If I have both the Mithril and Aracanite Dragaonlings; are they both on the same cool down timers or are they on seperate timers? I would hate to invest the time and gold to make another Mithril Dragonling if I could not use it.

As I understand it all engineering pets have a 60 minute cooldown timer. I currently switch between Battle Chicken and my Mithril Dragonling. They have seperate timers so I am able to use 1 pet every 30 minutes which is very usefull when you are soloing quests. If they are all on seperate cool down timers I would be able to use my chicken, mithril dragaonling, & Aracnite Dragonling pets once every 20 mintues.

Any insight to my question would be much appreciated.

All of the dragonlings share a cooldown, so it is pointless to have 2, only bother with the stronger one.

I have a mithril mechanical dragonling and a standard mechanical dragonling and they are both on different timers so I can alternate them accordingly to which has cooled down first.

Each has 60 minute cool down so basically 1 dragon ever 30 minutes. Plus battle chicken 1 pet ever 20 minutes.

If mechanical and mithril dragons are both on seperate timers I would assume that the thorium dragonling is on a seperate timer.

I am going to bite the bullet and make a Mithril Dragonling this weekend to test if they are on the same timers... Will post update on Monday.

where do you get the plans for the dragon?

I now know for sure that both the mirthril and arcanite dragonlings are on different timers...

I got the schematics at the AH. Most of the time the plans are way overpriced... need to check frequently and for about a week or so to get a decent price.

The plans for the Arcanite one drop off the elite blue dragon casters in Winterspring.
