Currently, I'm using mining and herbalism to make money, but I find the fact that you can't search for both types of resources at the same time to be a burden.
I'm considering dropping one of the two for either skinning or tailoring, and wanted to know what others thought about which skill I should drop and which skill I should pick up - or if I should just stick with the two. Keep in mind I'm going for maximum income here.

Mining produces pretty good income for the amount of effort required up until you can mine iron - after that it starts dropping off, and at only 5G a stack for thorium, it's pretty hard to justify the farming - especially since every blacksmith and engineer is out farming the same veins trying to find thorium for the Brotherhood. Herbalism seems to just keep going up, and with icecap selling for 20G a stack, it's still worth farming at high levels.
