I am a lvl 7 hunter and i am in oggrimar/that area(closest to start for orc) and I mine around the big canyons and in several caves in that area. My only problem is that there are several monsters that pretty much will own me. They are unbeatable at the moment but I really want to mine. Is there any where else for me to mine without this worry?
My mining lvl is like 60 something.

1) group with someone else to kill the mobs
2) level your character to the point where the mobs are not a problem any more
Well, you'd better level. You can raise the cap of 75 skill, until you reach level 10 anyways.

flip on that track mineras and run on top the canyon over the harpies and in that are i've gotten many a copper and silver that way
