Right, my skill in first aid is up to 210 or so, I need to get mageweave bandage and artisan first aid now. Problem is, I have no idea where to get either. Anyone care to help me out? Tried to find it on here and on thottbot, but no luck. If it matters, I'm horde :)
Thanks,
Dargramon.

This might answer some questions:

I am not horde or heavy into FA but anytime you get a secondary skill to 225 you need to do a quest to uncap.

I found this thread useful.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=16084

I have a lvl 28 night-elf druid who has 210 FA.

I had my lvl 38 night-elf hunter get the book for her. The guy is really tricky to find, because he's BEHIND the wall in Stromgarde Keep. If you have Titan Panel, you can find him in here:

Dustwallow Marsh 36, 30.

Read the above thread. Its got some great information.

Horde characters have to go to Hammerfall in the Arathi highlands the trauma surgeon there has you do a quick quest.

It's not Tarren Mill it's actually Hammerfall in Arathi Highlands where you do a quest for Doctor Gregory Victor.

Not that it matters too much, but the Trade Skill Sticky at the top of this forum goes over this pretty well:

Quote:
Q. I hit 150 skill, and there's no trainer! What do I do!?

A. You need to buy the First Aid manual. For Alliance, the vendor (Deneb Walker, I think) is in the ruined city of Stromgarde, in Arathi Highlands. He is in the Alliance-friendly section, right outside the prince's room. For the Horde, the vendor is Ghok'kah, in Dustwallow Marsh.

Note: These vendors also sell the books for Heavy Silk and Mageweave bandages. Buy them!!

Q. Okay, now what? I'm stuck at 225, and there's no new recipes...

A. Well, now you need to do the FA quest. People hate this quest. It took me three tries my first time to get it, and only one my second time. It is a lot easier if you do it with someone else (although they need to have the bandages, or be on the same quest). The quests are Horde Trauma and Alliance Trauma. You can look them up :)
Alliance (starts in IF): http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.h...wquest=6625
Horde (starts in Orgrimmar): http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.h...wquest=6623

Bolded to emphasize the relevent areas.

Hmmm... odd that the links don't work. Well, the quest names are there: Horde Trauma and Alliance Trauma.

Here's the Alliance one. http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=6625

You need to talk to the first aid trainer in IF first. She sends you to Theramore.

if you find the quest remember:
you have the injured soldier, baldy injured soldier and critically injured soldier.
When you stand in the chamber to heal the soldiers (because thats what the quest is about) look around and heal the soldiers with the priority orde of critically, badly and the rest.

good thing is to make a hotkey for the bandages you get from surgeon.
