weapon smithing questionFollow

I just finished the firts weapon smithing quest, does that mean I must stick with weapon smithing or can i unlearn it and do armor smithing? also what is better for money making weapon or armor smithing.

Once you finish the quest, you are a weaponsmith forever. Even if you drop and relearn BSing, you can{t become an armorsmith on this character. Note, that the sticky says this ;-)

Quite frankly, it's a little late to think about that ^_^! The truth is that it probably varies based on what plans you have. If you get the Lionheart Helm, then Armor is probably better. If you get, I dunno, Arcanite Reaper plans (which seem more common now, so maybe not...), Weapon will be more profitable. In egenral, I would say Weaponsmithing is more profitable, but I don't know for sure.

If you can farm breath of wind yourself, phantom blade always sells well, lvl60s always love arcanite reaper but ppl usually collect most of the mats n come to you, dawns edge+ ...sword gives +1 to crit which sells some. Too many n expensive mats usually, didnt make anything to sell except phantom blade. I sold over 25 phantom blades 22g lowest price ever(up to 32). ( n thats because ppl like to cut off each others prices)
