Hi everyone,

here is a First Aid (FA) noob question:
I'm just began my FA skill and increased my skill up to 225 in 2 day's. Now i'm stuck, i know to be in theramore but where and how can i learn FA beyond 225?

And what can you achieve with FA (making, earning, healing)?

You have to be lvl 35 to go above 225 in FA I believe. And you have to do the quest that the Trauma Surgeon gives out in theramore to get to a max skill of 300. Doing so allows you to skill up until heavy runecloth bandages. I think those are the 2000hp over 8 seconds bandeges.

Talk to a doctor in the huge barrack. He's in one of the rooms around there right when you enter.

Don't expect to use 300 FA for anything but healing yourself and others. It doesn't make any money, but it is a lifesaver to have even if you play a priest.

If you are level 35 and the doctor still does not talk to you, you may need to get the quest first. Go visit a first aid trainer. He/she should have the quest for you to go talk to the doctor. I’m not sure if every first aid trainer will give you the quest. I’ve always gotten it from the trainer in Ironforge. But I expect any trainer will do.

In most cases there isn’t a lot of difference between eating and using a bandage. I was surprised to find that my level 57 warrior hardly ever used bandages as he leveled. He just sat and ate. However, there are times when a bandage can save your life.

You cannot eat whiles swimming. So if you are battling underwater and you need to heal you’ll have to use a spell, potion or a bandage.

You cannot eat during combat. If you have already used a healing potion and still need healing, food will do you no good. But some classes, such as rogues and mages, can stun or otherwise distract a mob long enough to at least partially apply a bandage. Those extra points can save your life. This is one reason to have the most powerful bandages you can have for your level. They will heal more points faster.

Bandages can also be used on others during combat, as long as neither of you are being hit. But again, even a partial bandage can make a difference. Bandages can also be used to heal pets.

I prefer to use food for out of combat healing. It’s just my personal preference. But I always keep at least one stack of bandages on all my characters, just in case.

FA is one skill every player should have and once you get to level 55 or so,I see no reason not to have it at 300.
As a Warlock, they are not only HP but MP with lifetap. As a Rogue, feint/ bandage reduces the liability of a leather using classs in parties. Hunters, FD/bandaid. Mages can snare/bandaid. Even healers use bandages, not only is it a mana free heal, but it gives you time to actualy regen mana.

for right now their is some money to be made in FA(Not for long), The war effort, you can turn in bandages and get greens or blues, but that wont last.
