This is the 2nd time Im going eng, last time I got up to about 250sp and the rerolled to tailor. Now when Im trying to get back to eng I cant get the Q to become a gnome/goblin eng (I have done it once allready). But I can buy the gnome membership card, and I can get artisan eng also. The goblin in Tanaris says Im a gnome eng and the gnome in IF lets me look at the scematics for gnome membership but refuses me to buy them...still I got the membership card ???
Could any1 plz help me with this..

I know that once you pick a specialty in a profession, such as gnomish engineering, you’re stuck with it for the life of that character. In other words you can never become a goblin engineer with that character. But as long as your gnomish membership card is current, they only last a week, then you should be able to buy the schematics.
If your card is current and you still can’t buy schematics you may need to fill out a GM ticket and have them take a look at it.

Yea I have a updated membership card and I still cant get the scematics. I will sign a ticket to GM about this, must be something very wrong here.
one problem i saw on my engineer was, i had the card in my bank, and i couldn't see the schematics to choose to buy them.
i then went to the bank, destroyed my card, and bought a new membership. at the same time, i talked to the gnome again and saw the schematics.
in retrospect, it could have been that didn't have the card in my inventory.
it's different from your scenario but make sure the card is in your inventory.

aaa well I think I may see a issue, the Gnomish engenering trainer is not in IF he is in Booty Baty, so are you going to the worng guy to get your schematics?

I believe there is a gnome eng trainer in IF that sells schematics as well, not just in BB. That's one of the perks of being a gnome engineer in a city of full of gnomes.
