My mining is at 134 and I want to up it quickly. Where are the best places to go for iron veins and silver veins? They don't necessarily have to be together. Thanks in advance!

go in duskwood! there's iron between the twilight thing and darkshore vilage. just run in circle on the border in the rocks and there should be some along with tin, copper and maybe silver
At the left of you're screen you see search. type "iron deposit" and you'll see the regions for deposits. click on 1 and you'll get a map of that region with the locations of the deposit.

Chlkilt got it right - that's the best way.
For iron, if you're high enough level, I really like the Badlands. There's a forge in the middle of the zone for smelting between runs, and there is also a lot of mithril when you get that high. If you're on the horde side or have stealth, Thousand Needles is pretty rich territory as well, but alliance tends to get ganked there a lot. Silver you can't really farm - it is a rare spawn of tin, so anywhere you mine a lot of tin you may occasionally see a spawn of silver.
