From what I've gathered from reading forums rescently (i'm a total newb to online RPG's), the term newb denotes someone who is new to either the game or gaming in general (like me!), while the term n00b is a derogatory term that denotes someone who should know better but acts like an @$$hat, or just won't listen to any reason or logic.

I do agree that this thread was painful to read, but after a lengthy translation process, I also agree with the generic idea behind what the OP stated. It is by far more profitable to take a dual gathering approach over a crafting approach for your profession selection, especially durring the course of the world event.

You can make a killing now with light leather, copper bars, linen bandages, along with other items that can generally be had through the gathering primary and secondary professions.

Once the world event ends, prices for these items will drop, however the demand should immediately shift back to the raw materials such as linen cloth, copper ore, light leather, etc. I predict that the demand for these items will actually be slightly higher than they were before the world event because people who had been collecting and buying the above items have been using them exclusively for suplying the war effort, they'll undoubtedly desire to get back to where they left off with their profession training. People who have been collecting will probably want to just buy their mats from the AH since they've been spending all of their time grinding for the mats for the world event.

This ofcourse is just a prediction. My advice is to test the waters and see what others are doing before you spend the money to put up auctions at too high of prices that won't sell due to whatever trends the market happens to be taking at the moment.

Money Making Guide: Don't be Stupid V1.1

When selecting professions, it is advantageous to choose gathering professions instead of manufacturing professions if you want to maximize your in-game profit.

I could care less about the spelling because everyone has slow days but to the OP, You should really read the existing guides because this startegy has been stated many times before and in better paragraph form. You should really think about typing a long and "guide worthy" post in MS Word and spellcheck it and paragraph it before posting it on a forum unless you would like to be flamed endlessly. Just my 2 cents.

I guess some people don't mind being perceived as a 9-year-old kid with minimal English skills. I'm sure the OT's response will be something ingenious such as, "stfu" or "f u".

Nope. He just wants a reputation of being someone who can't spell, use capitalization and punctuation, or construct a sentence properly. I tried (really hard) to get through the OP several times, and have come to the conclusion that the "stupid noob" that he got the information from is himself.

Therefore, this deserves an excerpt from "The ultimate flame"

I realize this is the OP's first post, and he gets kudos for ATTEMPTING to help people out...

But this has been said 100,000 times before. In english.

For the love of god, use spell check. >_>

I would add to the growing list of flames against this poor kid, but i fear if i wrote this in a grammatically correct sentance he may have trouble understanding what i'm trying to say.

So for his simple self ... read da oither stuf in guides and den STFU n00b :)
