When do enchants pay off?Follow

Believe me, I know that Enchanting is a very expensive and long process for most, but I hear that it can be very beneficial once you get the higher level enchants. I am only at 112 for Enchanting, and I know just by looking at my Enchant list that it'll be quite a while until the big formulas roll in, but could any high-level Enchanters fill me in on when (skill level) I'll be getting the more in-demand enchants?

For me, enchanting has made me money along the whole road to 225. I'm not sure about 225+, but i can make a bit of money selling enchants for a while in IF. What you gotta do, is see which enchants are really popular. A great example is the weapon glow, you can find this on 1h: +3, 2h: +5, beastslayer, elemental slayer (this is 225 and below). These weapon glow enchants are usually in high demand, this is because whats cooler than a glowing weapon right? Anways, say you buy the materials off the AH for 2g. This is where you make your money, when some1 asks the price you say 2.5, or 3g. This way your making a profit. If they say no, and ask lower then do it for them if its not under 2g, ONLY IF YOU BREAK EVEN.

With this strategy, i've made 100g at level 36, and gotten to 225 enchanting. Mining/ skinning would probably net you more money for your time, but Higher enchants will net you more money.

Popular enchants that i get asked for? well, AGI+, STAM+, weapon glow, the occasional minor speed increase, + AC to cloak, and once in a blue moon, i get a +int request.

Anyways, i hope this helps you, and any1 else becomming an enchanter. Oh and btw, i leveled enchanting from level 10 and it took me to level 30 to get 225, about 2 weeks. I didn't powerlevel it, and i d/c all my greens. Tailoring also helped me out, i d/c all the greens i made there. Whew sorry to write so much, hope it helped you out.
