i was told you can make about 10g an hour from skinning turtles in your mid 30's, but i cant find these, they drop something like a turtle shell or something, and more often heavy/thick hide.

anywone know where to find these turtles?

The only good mid-thirties turtles I know of (i.e. scale droppers) would be the ones along the coast north of Theramore. 10g per hour may be a bit lofty, but there's surely some money to be made there. The big problem with them is that they are a quest mob so you could have alot of competition and very few turtles. The ones on the Tanaris shore are better, but higher level. The Hinterlands shore used to be good but the addition of Revantusk Village has pretty much made that shore too popular also.

Yes (30) turtles is a good MoB to skin. You can find them in the river East of Hillsbrad. There is also a cooking quest that goes along with the turtles that starts in Hillsbrad called Turtle Soup.

I think you are thinking about thoose in eastern Thousand Needles. In the area "The Shimmering Flats". They drop something called Spelled Shell Fragment, which sells for 9,45 s for one. And you will receice about 10-12 of them per hour, so its maybe 1 g pr. hour. Very nice, i grinded theese to get enough money for my mount.

They are white and a bit blue, and in The Shimmering Flats, Thousand Needles, they are at the northern part of the ice-area. Good luck, try to find them:) And yes, they gives good skins, too.
