Trying to Grind LeatherworkingFollow

#1 Dec 24 2005 at 5:52 PM Rating: Decent
I have quite a low leatherworking skill right now, and I'm trying to find a guide on how best to grind out the skill. While there seems to be guides for EVERY OTHER PROFESSION UNDER THE SUN, leatherworking is not one of them. If anyone has any ideas or links, they would be much appreciated.

Well, my advice is to:

1. If you have an abundance of money, just buy mats off the AH
2. Go to a low level area, and skin everything you can find

How low is quite low? What level is your character currently? Do you have skinning?

I can give you some suggestions if I know the above information.

You can use this site as a guide, it helped me a lot. One of the limitations will be your character level if you are going to skin the MOBs yourself. It should not be that difficult to "grind out" the skill until you reach around 240.

If you want to just grind the skill, just make the cheapest (in terms of materials) red items (in your leatherworking skill) until they turn yellow. One example of this is Hillman’s shoulders. I made a lot of them and sold some at the AH.
