What is this I keep reading about armorsmith vs. weaponsmith? I am a lvl 60 blacksmith when do I decide what path to go? Also, which is better for a dwarf hunter? I originally chose smithing so i could make my own stuff after lvl 40 but now I am finding it is easier to buy most of it. So now I just wanna make $$$!!! Which is best?
You can level up to 300 without making a choice at all, but you are offered a choice at 225 (I think? Might be 200). At that point, your trainer will offer to send you to one of two other trainers, who will offer you a quest which when completed locks you into that path, either weaponsmith or armorsmith. As a weaponsmith, you can go on to specialize as an Axesmith, Swordsmith, or Hammersmith. Each specialization has recipes available which can only be used by that specialization. Clicking "Trade Skills - by Trade" on the search panel to the left will give you the complete list of recipes, broken down by specialization. You might want to check the availability of the plans as well - some are only available in Instance runs, others only as world drops, while only a few of the higher level plans can be purchased.
I can't give any advice on the moneymaking aspect of the specializations - I haven't had the patience to make money off of anything yet.

Wel im the armor smith of my guild and i can tell you . There is more armor then weapons for pre 55 to be made , because they all nead mabey 1 or 2 weapons but i supply them with head sholders chest waist legs feet hands wrist pieces.. get the picture?
As a weapon smith its verry hard to make monney on 1 piece essspecialy if yoiur in a big guild because they all want 1 weapon maby 2 so you help them out a little en make no or verry few money with me guildies moost of the time i give them 1 piece discount on a second en let them buy the rest from me :) im not the salvation army
LVL 55+ is a hole other story i think the hole thing will shift they all want there epic sets so then it realy pays to be a Weapon smit go for the axe! Arcanite reaper plans are some where in Black rock. They sell VERRY GOOD on my server but if you have the plans you can charge what ever you want for that weapon! Because well no one or verry few can make it!
Well thats it the expention Comes because then the end cap be on 70 so there be new armor and weapons for all :S
Real money is not in professions its in trade buying low and selling at the right place! make tons more doing that then i do with BS
