where is the best place to get cloth at lvl 5 alliance side? i wnat to make a bunch of bags then switch to skin/herb for quicker cash.

try the kobolds in The Forest place.
as you are running out of storm wind to goldshire on the left side of the path there are a few humanoids there. at real low level gind them. the kobolds in the mines in goldshire drop it as well, then on to the the kobolds (where hogger is) then the humanoids in westfall.

You will only be making 6 slots at your lvl. You would be better off doing your switch now..and AHing or having someone make ya some really quick. Usually you can farm some linen and have someone craft em for the price of MATs at that lvl. one, they get lvl ups in the craft without having to farm mats, and you get bags...
