Small "Icy Chill" enchant for a level 19 Paladin qFollow

#1 Dec 01 2005 at 4:08 PM Rating: Decent
I have more than enough gold to get this, but I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get an icy enchant on my Shadowfang for my level 19 Paladin. Has anyone used this enchant before? Would it be good for a melee character?

Not worth it, you will be throwing the weapon at a vendor before too long.

Gold buying? just seems ood that someone at 19 would even think of spening more than 3 gold on a enchant, even with a level 29 Main. Dont get angery if you are not a gold buyer, It just dosent seem like the spending patterns of somebody that gets their money the legit way.

Hahahaha! I don't buy my gold. I believe gold buying would ruin the purpose of the game. Anyways, I'm just wondering if the icy chill enchant is worth it if I have the money (which I do). I don't intend on leveling my Paladin for a very long time because I want him to be a 10-19 WSG owner. I personally believe this skill would benefit my Paladin well since he doesnt really have any movement impairing effects, but I'm just wondering what everybody else thinks of this enchant.

Then tear at it, I am sure it will serve you well. For me(a guy that is not a huge WSG fan for levels before 40) it just dosent seem ... right, but if you are not going anyplace with your level, it will be shocking to others in the matches.

I don't think it would be shocking. Most of the people that do 10-19 WSG have level 60 mains that give them good gear and enchants, I know this from experience.

But to the people who have actually used this enchant, is it a good chance that it will chill the people with a 2.70 attack speed one handed sword?

If you have lots of gold to spare.. why not... myself would never do it though... lvl 1-30 takes about 3days of casual play if you know what youre doing.

wonder what I did right? I had 350g when i dinged lvl40 on my main...

However a tip for you.. grind with the stuff you have and stay away from the "bid" and "buyout" button until youre 60.

if you have the money and you mean to keep this pally around for WSG for a while, then go ahead to do it.

Does anyone know if this enchant procs often enough to be a reliable flag carrier chasing ability?

No , it doesn't proc enough to be reliable. Get fiery enchant and boot speed enchant, plus some quickness & free action pots, and they will have trouble even making it out of the tunnel.

Nah, I'm just gonna go with a Crusader enchant. I've also already been using swiftness potions since I was level 11.
