I'm a lv 46 warrior on spire stone who just took up Blacksmithing, need to level it asap, does anyone know of a good place to mine tin, specifically horde side, I tried southern barrens but theres really not many tin nodes there... thanks in advance.

I've been fishing for Deviants in the three oasis in the barrens, and often see tin and copper (and occaisionaly silver) pop up on the bottom of the pools. I've also seen more tin in the northern half of the barrens than in the south, but at any rate, it SEEMS more common in the razerback camps and the oasis.

Also, One Thousand Needles has a fair amount of tin and iron, a lot of copper, never seen silver that I recall but I have seen a couple of mithril nodes.

The Barrens has a lot of tin actually, but its all guarded by razorbacks, & quillboars so you have to fight your way in. All their camps have both copper and tin mines. I farmed this from lvl 20-25 when I was in my Bronze stages (and even after to make some stuff to sell).

Next is 1K needles. Best all around mining spot for mid level miners (Iron, Tin, Copper, and occasional Mithril).

I should post my Gatherer map showing all the tin nodes in Barrens, it's more than 50 spots for sure.....

From what i've found, the BEST place to get tin is in Thousand Needles. They have tin nodes everywhere, and when you finish with tin, the iron supply is not bad either. Also, as you are leveling up Blacksmithing, you should make bronze items long after you can start getting Iron; so you collect a stash of iron and make your bronze. When the bronze runs out, switch to your reserve of iron. I collected ~50 tin in 60-90minutes of farming--head to the areas near CrossRoads for my copper and 2hours got my 100bronze. only did it once
