And yet be able to make useful items for myself and others in my guild?
If I can't have both, I'll settle for the cash, that way I can buy stuff off others in my guild/ at the auction house.
I am a Night Elf Druid - dunno if that info helps.
Take skinning and either mining or herbalism.
Sell everything you get in the AH.
It's very difficult to make money with the non-gathering tradeskills like tailoring/blacksmithing/alchemy etc...
