How do you sell transmute: aracanite? Do you have to give the person a deposit on the mats or can you do the transmute just by having the mats in the trade window.
On my server, it's basically like this:
Person: WTB an Arcanite Transmute - 5G!
Me: /w Person I can do that for you!
The person trades me the materials: an arcane crystal and a thorium bar. I transmute them and open a new trade menu. I trade the Arcanite Bar for 5 gold.
That's basically how it works for me; it may vary server to server. Some people pay up front. The general idea is the same, though

Thanks for the explanation. Seems like people would just run off with the mats. I thought maybe there would be a more secure way.
what we need is more "will not be traded" slots.
If there's a trust issue then the alchemist can simply carry a stock of one or more arcanite bars. The buyer would provide 1 thorium bar, 1 arcane crystal and the agreed fee in a straight trade for the arcanite bar. The alchemist can then transmute at a later time.

Well you could Do that. But then I would'nt count on doing a public trade Transmute ever again, you would be amazed that nobody wants to do biz with ya after you pull that method enuff. I play Transmuter on 2 servers and I know that we alchemest build a rep, thats the diffrence between two alchemest... one who gets the transmute and one that dosent. Although, I have never seen somebody run away, with mats, if you think about it , 20-25 gold for a crystal, and a bit of silver for the Thourim surely isnt worth giving up the money you can earn form transmuting, but realy, i do essence transmutes for much better money,water to air or undeath to water both get me 8-9 gold each, much better money than metal transmutes.
