Artisan First Aid Trainer?Follow

#1 Oct 11 2005 at 1:50 AM Rating: Decent
I searched the first three pages to see if anyone had posted this yet, and I didn't see it, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the artisan first aid trainer(s) for alliance side are? I've already learned everything the woman in Stormwind can teach me and I have silk I need to make into bandages, I just won't get any skill ups for it so I don't want to do it just yet.

If by "artisan" you mean 225+ training, the guy is in Theramore in one of the buildings. He's labled as "Trauma Sergeon" or something like that. Its a quest you have to complete which currently requires level 40 (after patch 1.8 I believe it will require level 35).

Also, if you're capped at 225, making heavy silk bandages isn't going to net you many skill ups, as its a green recipe for me. The next step is mageweave bandages, which is learned through a book purchasable at Stormgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands (same place you get the book to learn 150+ first aid).

If you're referring to 150+ first aid training, go to Arathi Highlands (the next zone north of the Wetlands - level 30-40 zone, so stay on the road and be careful) and follow the road north, then west at the split. Get the flight path in Refuge Pointe if you haven't already. Continue heading west until you see a castle structure off to the left of the road. Go into the main entrance and be careful. Stick to the right wall (there are level 35-ish elites on the left). Take your first right inside the fort and follow that road strait back until you start seeing friendly NPCs.

Back in that area you're safe. Follow the road back into that area and around to the right. Back in the garden/cemetary area there should be a vendor that sells a book that will teach you 150+ first aid.

Also I noticed you have to hit 225 skill before you are offered the quest to the trauma surgeon.

For horde I think you have to go to Arathi Highlands and talk to the guy there for our quest for 225+

I have acquired the Expert book and trained. I can now increase my talent from 150-225. However, I have learned no new recipes, the best recipe I have is Silk Bandages. Where do I learn heavy silk bandages? I know I have to be a higher level for the rest, but I would like heavy silk at least. Thanks

Ya same guy that sold you the Fist aid under wraps, also sells 2 other books for first aid, you may want to think about getting them.

For horde side...

150-225 --- Reagent vendor in Brackenwall Village in Dustwallow Marsh sells the book and heavy silk and mageweave bandage patterns.

225-300 --- 35+ ... Visit Trauma Surgeon in Hammerfall, Arathi Highlands. First building on left as you cone in the front (south) gate. Complete Triage quest where you use triage bandage on wounded undead, trolls & Orcs. Need to save 15 before 6 die.

To finish this quest easily... Stand between the middle two soldiers. Set your view as far behind you as possible so you can see all 6 bodies. Put your triage bandage on a hotkey, and then just target and hotkey the heal.
If you see critical wounded, you must do them NEXT. They survive for just over 2 bandage cycles before they die. So if you get 2 critical wounded at the start, heal one, then go for a badly injured. You will not have time to save both at the start.

Try to keep in mind the ones that have been there the longest.
It appears that critical last for just over 2 heal cycles, badly for 3 heal cycles and injured for about 5 cycles.

If you don't get it on the first try, save the hotkey setup and you should have it down pat on the 2nd try.

Hope this helps.... FOR THE HORDE!
