I am a 120 tailor and I need to find Wool to advance myself further into the tailoring profession. I don't really want to pay 1-2 gold per stack of wool when I know I can find it myself if I only know where to look. I am a level 17 mage in The Barrens and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to find wool.

Go to Item Lookup on this website and type woolcloth. It wil show you all the mobs that drop wool in every zone, their levels and drop rate percentages.

Not sure which faction you are, or which type of server you come from..
If you are horde:
1: barrens...the pigs south of crossroads and around CampT will drop wool, and some silk near CampT
2: Hillsbrad Foothills....the farmers and such all drop wool and a few silk.
If you are alliance......
re-roll horde.
