Ok im level 32 NE warrior and im at enchanting 225. Now to get 225+ u must go into Uldaman and get to the trainer. Now i had a 60 mage and 41 pally run me in there, and when we got there it said u had to be level 35. Now i looked on Thottbot and here and no where did anyone say u had to level 35. So here it is TO BE 225+ ENCHANTER U MUST BE LEVEL 35!!!! wish i knew that before. Lol fun to have 100+g at level 32 lol.

Every main profession is level limited: you can only get to 75 at 5, to 150 at 10, to 225 at 20, and 300 at 35. The reason is that Blizzard wants you to level up your alternative characters a bit. It makes sense in most cases; for production professions, your 225 recipes are for level 40. If you're under that level, you can't use what you're making! So as motivation to get you to use your items, the game makes you level up to a point where it is viable.

It's still a pain in the **** though. I can never get a group to go to Uldaman JUST to visit the trainer. Everyone always wants to do the whole thing. Sorry, but there's a limit to the number of times I can do an instance.

sticking a trainer in an instance is just plain dumb especially uldaman from my experiance always groups of enemies camping it
100+g at 32? i got 117 at 40 without my tradeskill (blacksmith was at like 30 cos it was a waste of time)instances are your friend blizz limits are not :/

For enchanting you need to visit Uldaman *once* to train the recipes (assuming you bring sufficient cash & materials). It's a mid-level instance so 1-2 higher level characters can easily take you in, it only takes a few minutes to get there via the backdoor. You don't need any special keys.

By comparison, Dark Iron items require smelting and smithing in Blackrock Depths (need Shadowforge Key and it's a long haul) every time you want to make something and for alchemists every time you want to make Flasks you must get to the Alchemy Lab inside Scholomance (need the Scholomance key and fight all the way to Ras Frostwhisper).

In other words, enchanters have an easy time of it compared to others and also Blizzard are very clearly and intentionally making use of instances to reduce the number of level 35 'manufacturing alts'.

if you have problems with running an instance multiple times for something then your going to hate the end game :) Unless you like challenging fights more than you hate repetattive instnaces ;)

I honestly like and hate blizzard for this. One problem that came from FF was mules. People would create a new char and max out a craft with no lvling expenses and it would then hurt the competition a bit. Same with the delivery system.

Because WoW doesn't charge per character you create they dont want people filling up the server with mules. a lvl 40char isnt as much of a "Waste" of server resources as a lvl 1 auction/tradeskill runner. If you know what I mean. The reason i dont like it is because my warrior is lvl 20 and is a tailor/enchanter. But because he is lvl 20 his tradeskill is capped. And I lvled half of it just by making bolts of cloth. and he has a frieghtening amount of cloth still waiting to be used but I would have to lvl him to use it, so its a bit annoying.

I really hope this wasn’t one of Blizzard’s goals. If so then they have shot themselves in the foot by limiting bank space. I have two accounts. On my main server I have those 20 slots filled up with 8 characters and 12 bank alts that do nothing but sit in the bank and hold extra profession supplies and gear I’m saving for my active characters as they level. On my hoard server I have 3 characters and about 6 bank alts.

I can understand Blizzard trying to limit the number of characters practicing the higher end professions by making them more difficult to, well, practice. It’s a pain, but I can live with it. But if limiting the number of alts was one of their goals I think they’ve failed miserably. The only reason I created so many alts to begin with was so that I would have access to each of the professions.

On the other hand, it takes time to level up all those characters so that they can practice their professions. And the longer people play the more money Blizzard makes. I wonder if Blizzard ever thought of that. *grins*
