Wetlands, Dragonmaw orc encampment.

Once you level up go to Arathi Highlands and then northern STV.

There's not much of it in the Wetlands...although there is some where the previous poster pointed out.

The best places I've found for it are Alterac and eastern Arathi, but you're too low for those zones at the moment. Sometimes your trade skills might "outlevel" your character, when that happens, you just have to put them on hold until you get your character up to the level you can continue the trade skills with.

But, I'd check the area in the wetlands that was mentioned above, that's probably your best bet, although its not as abundant there as in the next level tier of zones up.

If all you want to do is farm it, Stonetalon Peak is a good place. You may die a few times finding it, but once you've got the flight link, it's actually a pretty safe place to look around. Quite a bit in the hills right around the village. Be ready to run some if you're on a PvP server - lots of horde around and they raid the village occassionally.

Stonetalon for sure, walk just off the road on either side and you will see it. Getting to it though can be really annoying. The stuff likes to be high up on hills and you need to find the right path to get to it. :/

I checked wetlands ... and did find some, not a bit. I usually have luck finding Liferoot and maybe some mageroyal.

I overlooked it twice and past person was correct. its on a hill or right on the side of it.

There is a qst called Algaz gauntlet and when you go to fight dragonmaws at their camp close to the tunnel, you'll see it there.

I have a couple of qsts out at Stonetalon so I'll look at that later.

I don't know what it was, but for some reason yesterday I found more than the usual quantities of Wild Steelbloom in Hillsbrad and lower Alterac. It grows a lot on the cliff rocks on the eastern and southern side of Hillsbrad (east of Southshore). There's also quite a bit in the mountains just south of the snow-covered area in Alterac. I came home with almost two staks of 20 yesterday and usually I'm doing good to get one stack.

As mid-20s you should be able to get around Hillsbrad pretty easily, although you might have to fight off some mobs to get to the herbs.
