It is possible. To remove a tradeskill from your character, go to your character screen and click on the Skills tab at the bottom. Find the skill you want to remove and click on it. You should see a button that you can click on to drop that skill.

And this is all completely from memory, so forgive me if it's not exact.

I think the best combo for enchanting is Tailoring, as you can make the materials needed to enchant, from disenchating the Green's/Blue's you make.

Early on it's effective, though late game Enchanting gets not only expensive, but difficult to find materials to level it up.
