Can someone tell me where to learn or how to smelt dark iron? thx.
You can learn Smelt: Dark Iron from the ghostly dwarf Gloom'Rel in the Seven Dwarves room in the instance Blackrock Depths. You must talk to him before you start the script in that room, if you're not the group leader let the leader know that you need a moment before the script is started.
The price Gloom'Rel asks is 10 Truesilver Bars, 20 Gold bars and 2 star rubies.

Yup I am still waiting to do this quest myself I am at lvl 57 and went through part of BRD at lvl 55 and it was pretty rough! should be okay now with the right group. Once you learn it the only place to smelt/forge anything that uses dark iron ore/bars is the black anvil inside BRD so when you go take all the matts and dark iron ore you have and take advantage of it while you are there.
