I was wondering how the gathering skills affect results. For example, if you have 200 skinning will you get a lower yield of standard leather from creatures, than if you have a skill of 250? Does having 305 skill at herbalism give you a higher yield than 300? Does anyone have any idea how this works please?

Gathering drops are determined by Mob(for skinning) or Node(for herb/mining) and NOT AT All by the level of the skill dong the collecting, Meaning that when skinning a level one critter weather your skill is 1 or 310 you will get the same ruined leather scraps, they master skinner will not get a light leather or 2 while the begener only got scraps.
