Enchanting questionFollow

I was wondering, is possible to enchant stuff for your own alt? The only way I can see doing this is if it isn't soulbound and you enchant it and give it back. Is this possible? Can you enchant non-soulbound items and then mail/trade/sell them? I'm not an enchanter myself, I'm asking for a friend. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, non-soulbound items you can indeed trade. But soulbound stuff is out, so all the uber drops from end-game instances (assuming you get your alt to the end-game as well :-P) can't be enchanted by you.

Putting an enchant on something does not soulbound it; I constantly see things for sale in the Trade Channel with enchants already on them.

Course, you could try getting a friend and yourself to make alts on each other's accounts so you could do that to the endgame enchants...your friend logs in as your alt and you log in as your main, and it's all good. Except then if he stops paying for his account, you lose the alt.
