Hey Everyone...

I recently hit 300 alchemy/Herbalism/Cooking
but it seems to me that almost NO potions make money other thatn swiftness potion in fact Healing/Mana pots sell for about 25% of the cost of the mats it is udderly ridiculous so i was just wondering what are some potions you guys sell to make money?
I now wish i had gone LW because people actually search AH for armor lol.....any suggestions?

Thats under the Rediclous assumpion that enchanters make, trying to compair the cost of mats vs cost of product.

It is a known fact, Mats oursellproduct, so farm that mats, and you didnt pay anything, 100% porffit.

Do it and come back and talk to me then, if you whine about alchemy(one of the eazyiest money makers) I cant immigine what you would do with LeatherWorking( a trade skill folks wine about all the time)

If the mats sell for more than the potions, sell the mats, You dont need the skill add anymore right? sell transmutes.

i have payed for 5 toons mounts with alchemy/herb. try selling frost oil potions, shadow oil, exixer of the mongoose sells well. other than that, swich to skinning/Mining, it seems you just want money, and thats the way to get it.

4 words: elixir of the mongoose.

this potion sells every time I put it up, and sells for quite a bit too. Depending on your server, you can probably get up to 2g per elixir.

Another good way to make money with alchemy is by selling arcanite transmutes. Just head to IF/Org during peak server hours, and try to sell a transmute. They sell for 5g (my server at least, assuming this is standard on every server), providing the person brings the mats to you.

I know for awhile I was selling fire protection potions and elixir of greater water breathing and selling them for around 4G for 5.

I am alchemist myself

after an herbs farming session ... when I check the AH for the potential potion price Vs the Mats price ... even if I undercut the mats price I still make more money from the mats than the final product price ... plus, the AH fee is way lower for a stack of 20 herb than 4 stack of 5 potions ...

but I normally craft some potions and they sold really good on the AH ... mongoose, giants, greater agility, shadow protection ...

I have alchemy and herbs at 300. I can a few days a week make around 20 to 25 G in about 2 or 3 hours. Go to Swamp of Sorrows and look for blindweed, goldthorn, and fadeleaf. The respawn is pretty good there for these items. If you run the length up and then back down you should have a stack of blindweed and fadeleaf. Goldthorn is a little harder to come by. do this once or twice then head to AH. Look up the prices for those items and undercut by 5 to 10 percent for each herb. You may also want to break your stacks down to 10 or 5 instead of selling a full stack of 20 (if you make small stacks undercut less). If you have enough sell an entire stack as well. I did this to get my mount at lvl 43. I wish I had discovered this before I was 40 would have made the whole process faster. One more thing get the mod called gatherer to help you remember where the mats can be found.
